I met the great @hankazaria and the @theezstreetband @thestonepony Friday November 15, 2024! I presented Hank with a handmade PETILLO & BUELL guitar (Kevin Buell is Bruce's long-time guitar tech and created his BUELL BUCKER pickups, of which I put a set in the guitar for Hank). The guitar I built is based on @springsteen guitar/neck specs/Petillo Triangle Frets, a piece of the original Palace Amusement Park inlaid into the tone knob, hologram photo from @dannybones64 of Bruce & Clarence/Bruce's @Fender Esquire Guitar & Clarence's Sax, @redemartin hologram photo of Bruce about to toss the guitar around his back/Bruce pointing up into the crowd above. Also, @zack_sandler presented Hank an autographed CLINCH book/postcards/tshirts from the @transparentclinchgallery. When I spoke to @stevievanzandt about using the paisley pattern I made him on his PETILLO "Soulfire" guitar and his purple "OM" symbol, he was more than gracious about letting Hank have an exclusive piece of one of his guitars. I also incorporated one of Hank's Simpsons characters, MOE! The inlay of MOE is made of: the apron is Paua abalone, shirt blue Tibetan stone, gold pearl skin, mother or pearl towel, grey pearl hair and pants. The back headstock has the "Flaming MOE" in pink ivory with a mother or pearl outline and the famous three eyed Simpson fish at the heel made of gold pearl with mother of pearl eyes. The flame maple book matched top was designed after MOE'S Tavern at night which was purple in the cartoon. The front pickguard has filigree antique brass frames based on the Paramount Theater ceiling artwork housing holograms of Danny and Rob. The upper corner of the guard says "Down In Jungleland" - this song was chosen because it is Hank's favorite Bruce song. The back pickguard design was based on a wheel/tire rolling down the highway with the Thunder Road lyric "WE GOT ONE LAST CHANCE TO MAKE IT REAL AND TRADE IN THESE WINGS FOR SOME WHEELS" with Stevie's Purple "OM" symbol in the center and his paisley pattern design in the windows of the hubcap!
