Netflix ‘Territory’ was an incredible ride for the team at Heliguy. The Northern Territory was a true aerial playground. From the 5000 cattle muster, tracking R22 Helicopters, road train gangs, live action horse tracking with the team from @performancelivestock , and capturing the natural beauty of the landscapes of Kakadu and Daly River. 🐊 This was a fun one! It was a great honour for Heliguy to be involved in the production of Stan’s latest TV Series Nautilus. The Heliguy team had the privilege of contributing to this exciting new series by providing a range of technical services, including aerial cinematography, aerial photogrammetry, lidar scanning, VFX camera arrays and data processing. These elements were instrumental in capturing the immersive visuals and dynamic scenes that bring the world of Nautilus to life. Available now are these beautiful, true medium format Mamiya 645 Sekor-C primes, with 7 lenses ranging from 25mm to 105mm. When combined with our cine focal reducer and Mini LF, you shoot the full image circle of the lenses as they were originally intended and get close to the look of Alexa 65, whilst still maintaining a lightweight package for agility in the air and long flight times. Heliguy’s contribution to Furiosa was extensive and diverse from the outset. During pre-production, our Enterprise department travelled out to each location to scan from the air with specialist photogrammetry drones, providing 3D models for set design, VFX and previz.  Head drone operator Guy Alexander and camera operator Nathan Richards were a consistent team throughout principal photography for both main and second unit. Together, they captured a dynamic array of live action sequences with our heavy-lift drones featuring principal actors, stunt performers and the amazing variety of action vehicles. They also shot for the VFX team for element and plate shots, filming those key assets which allow the VFX artists to build up the scenes. Our FPV cinelifter team worked closely with the stunt and vehicle departments to capture high octane pursuit action.   Overall, this was the largest project that the Heliguy team has been worked on, with all crews from NSW, Victoria and Queensland being involved.
