Eirinn uses sustainable materials with organic dyes made from the earth and is experimenting with biomaterials all the time! they also make t shirts with dye made from crystals that have your star chart on them! extremely fun and lovely. trying to see the sky or notice it sometime

hey everyone, friends and foes some of you will be sad to hear this and the latter maybe glad (it’s your bag I don’t mind what you choose) but I am feeling deeply insecure at the moment, this is not something I often experience. My eyebrow infection has got really bad and I did briefly cry about it last night but that just aggravated the infection more so. I am now on antibiotics and hoping it clears up. In the meantime here are some recent ish outfits from a private look book (inside my head) called “tender and capable” the idea of this look was to play with silhouettes and the shape of my body in such a way that I became form and formless simultaneously, ready for a wedding or a track meet, fashion week or a volleyball social, what’s my job, unclear, definitely something, that’s for sure. I don’t know what I’m talking about I’m on a train right now and it’s going somewhere, we’re all going somewhere, I believe in us.

big appreciation post for the bike whisperer @cosmokatsourides 🚴‍♀️ I picked up this old bianchi for cheaps I was in the bath and scrolling through fb marketplace and saw it and just thought it was so special! and the guy told me he was very close to binning it ! Cosmo got very excited to fix it up and we got on it pretty much immediately Coz has been helping me with my bike and teaching me to maintain and fix bits for almost a year now I think! And it’s been brill he’s the best ! All of this was done in about 3 days, he could’ve done it in a day but he wanted me to be around so he could show me how it all works and how to fit parts. The bottom bracket was toast and so was the crankset and the brakes, tyres hadn’t been changed since 2002 I reckon lol, but we popped to the bike hub and coz helped me pick out a new crankset, brakes, handlebars and bracket and now it’s a bike that brings me so much joy! she’s so quick and fun just wish it would stop raining so I can ride more ☔️☔️ If you’re in the Brighton and hove area and you need a bike build or a fix go see Cosmo! ❄️ super amazing rates and the most amazing teacher! thx so much again! 🌸 #bianchi #projectbike #beaterbike #vintagebike #bikerepair #bikebuild

Next on the list was @beatnikcafe_ after asking around different places in Edinburgh everyone said the same thing “go to beatnik” and it was so wonderful, the light in this place is beautiful! Staff were so lovely too ! We tried two Ethiopian coffees from @blossomcoffeeroasters one washed and one natural and both were spectacular, always so fun to try two coffees from the same farm with different processes. Such a relaxed and beautiful space, if I lived in Edinburgh I would make this a regular spot for sure #specialtycoffee #coffeeshopsoftheworld

Now that I’m back from my holiday adventure to Edinburgh, I can finally start talking about the coffee I had! After cycling on from Leeds the days this was the first stop on the list that was very highly recommended. It definitely wasn’t just that I hadn’t had a filter coffee in days—it’s not that deep, really. I actually kinda enjoy an instant or a Monster sometimes. It was just that everything about @lowdown.coffee was rlly rlly good. We went back again too to try the espresso! I wanted to go on the last day, but I’d run out of time. I did, however, get a bag of Apollon’s Gold (Panama, natural), which was spectacular, and a little tube of Amoc (China, washed) for a friend! The brews, the decor and porcelain were so beautiful. I don’t think I’ve ever had table service coffee before, and it felt so chic. The baristas were also so lovely and had lots of nice coffee chat and gave Lily and I a list of places to see and eat in Edinburgh, and they all ended up being such good spots as well 🌸 I regrettably didn’t end up noting down which coffees we tried on pourover, but we got both that were on at the time. One tasted like eucalyptus and was really herbaceous and juicy, and the other was a bit more earthy and like violets from what I remember.
