It’s here! @crosscurrentmag, issue four, 𝘴𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 is without a doubt our most ambitious issue yet with over 300 pages of fashion, art, architecture, and ideas from an all-star roster of contributors. A few highlights (more to come!): José Pedro Cortes’ arresting 30-page visual essay; MoMA PS1 curator Ruba Katrib’s conversation with one of my favourite artists @mimosaechard (photographed by the inimitable Ola Rindal); Angela Hill and Max Pearmain’s poetic @stefan_cooke special accompanied by writer Mahoro Seward’s sweeping 3000+ word feature story with the brand’s lovely designers Stefan and Jake; bestie Jonas Glöer in @courreges SS24 by the genius Alessio Bolzoni; an epic fashion story by the legends Drew Jarrett and Tony Irvine; Anton Gottlob, Delphine Danhier, and Marisha Urushadze’s romp around Paris; enigmatic musician @__a__c__t__r__e__s__s__’s musings on the ultra-real (with yours truly and Clare Shilland); Takashi Homma and Laëtitia Gimenez Adam’s meditative exploration of archive fashion and female nudity in Tokyo; @loewe shoes (and more zany fashion) by Andrea Spotorno and Anna Santangelo; a South of France getaway with Pegah Farahmand and Sabina Schreder; and much much more. A massive thank you to everyone involved, but especially to @emily__schofield who brought every story in this issue to another level with her supreme design and art direction prowess. I’ve had the best time making this issue and I hope you all enjoy <3
