Olympic Champion 🥇✨
The race I’ve been dreaming about & working towards for so long. To feel the nerves and the pressure, but also calm & focused as I stared down the course in the starting blocks, and to cross the finish line knowing I’d left it all out there… just proud 🥹
It was incredible to race in front of that crowd with that atmosphere - thank you, merci!
A magical day on the water ✨ thank you for all the love & support - on ground, in the lead up, whether in the stands, screaming at your screens in the middle of the night back home, & around the world 💛
Congrats also to @zkklaudia & @kimberleywoods 👏🏽 and to all the girls who put down some great paddling in that final, it was a good show 🔥
🇫🇷 Devenir Championne Olympique à Paris - le rêve 💭 une incroyable journée sur l’eau avec un publique qui nous a fait vibrer. Merci merci merci 💛

The Don ✨
The greatest honour to be awarded this prestigious award with @_noemiefox , in a room full of Australian sporting legends - the ones who first inspired us as little kids were in that room, how special to be among them. Forever inspired✨
It was a magical night - thank you @sportaushof
..
Unsure how to split the custody of the trophy- so gave it to Dad who took Sir Don out for a beer 🍻😂

The TFAP Athlete of the year just had to be Jess Fox.
The paddle goat carried the flag in Paris and backed it up winning double Gold in the K-1 and C-1.
Fox became the first paddler, male or female, to win and hold both K-1 and C-1 Olympic titles, and also became the most decorated athlete in canoe slalom at the Olympics.
Congratulations Jess!

Three-time Olympic canoe slalom gold medallist, Jessica Fox, moved to Australia from France when she was just four and has since become a sporting role model.
Now a L’Oréal Paris ambassador, she chats with Jane Rocca about her achievements, family life, sibling rivalry and the new life paths she’s discovering.
“Giving women a chance to be at the table and made to feel they belong in the workplace and in sport is a good start. That our voice matters is key,” says @jessfoxcanoe.
“I have just turned 30 and the athlete in me has been the focus for so long. Now, after Paris, I am loving discovering my potential for more media work, so I’m leaning into that for now.”
