Today, I want to celebrate the incredible life and legacy of Karsten—known to so many as Crash🎥. He was more than a cinematographer; he was a visionary, a trailblazer who reshaped the way the world saw music, culture, and art. Crash didn’t just shoot hip-hop videos—he defined their look, creating a visual language that inspired generations. His fingerprints are on the very fabric of pop culture. I can’t help but reflect on the decades of work and memories we shared. From Ante Up with @bustarhymes to Adrenalina with @wisin and @jlo to campaigns like Cadillac. His passion was contagious, his talent unmatched, and his commitment to excellence unwavering. I started my first production company with his incredible wife, Rosanne. I shared offices with his dad. His influence on my career, and on this industry, is immeasurable. The news of his passing hit my soul in a way I can hardly put into words. I am still in shock, wrestling with the reminder that tomorrow is never promised. My heart is with Rosanne, their daughters, and the entire family as they navigate this devastating loss. Crash, you were more than a colleague; you were my brother. I love you, and I will carry your memory with me every day. You will forever be cherished, remembered, and celebrated as the legend and icon you are. Rest in power, my brother. 🙏🏽❤️

Terrero, is considered one of the most influential music video directors in urban culture, transitioned into Film and TV with his first move being the cult classic SOUL PLANE. A celebrated commercial director Jessy has collaborated with brands including: Cadillac, NFL, and Smirnoff. Jessy also runs his own production company, Cinema Giants specializing in documentary and music video content.
