Skimming across the screen is our paragon of talents Mary Jane, who plays the Rollerskater Molly Jean, along with a host of local spots & faces around Geelong. This was one of two films that screened at the @pivotcinema before various feature films for a few months - our conception of the Beezal Mop project. I’m really excited and proud of what Beezal Mop is turning into: an outlet for many different filmmakers to produce a two minute film which we then bring to cinema, giving it a pre-screen life for the duration of the feature films run it’s paired with. The collective aim is to bring local talent and crew to local cinemas, working with new directors on each short in the process. If this might be a thing you’re into, DM me or @beezalmop.
