I can’t anymore lol

So I had to paint some bowling balls for work but decided to make a small sample on the body of a troll doll! Of what I was going to paint. @zengxisyuan also use his little troll frame to practice creating a glitter clear gloss to coat him in. We are very happy with the results. His name is Lazurite…we both thought wow… our baby….. why is he blonde? lol

Giant Toasted Waffle for Eggo Coffee pop up in nyc. So this is super late. I drew one of my fav looks that Shelly Duvall wore only I wanted to play with color and change things and now I hate it and this illustration will remain like this in an unfinished way. But it’s finished enough for me to show the amount of work I did in trying to capture her expression! Unfortunately I hate the letters and background and also wish I stayed committed in trying to finish it after her passing. I have always thought of her as this infectious personality who pulls off some of the best 60’s-70s looks during that time. #I also enjoyed her in some of the movies I watched in my youth like pop eye, the shining, Casper and Wendy, Annie hall, the twilight zone, Saturday night live etc. I wouldn’t say I was obsessed with her but I was sad to see her passing she will always in my brain the lady with the knife from the shining portraying fear in a way that amplified my anxiety and I love her for that! Just finished this cute taiyaki drawing that I may turn into a sculpture. These snacks have always been cute to me and I wanted to make one that was fun and sassy looking like he’s a grumpy grouper! He would deff be flavored with sea salt ice cream, peanuts and butterscotch! A fish you have to battle on the fishing pole cause he packs a punch! Maybe even a spicy flavor would be funny!

Possible Digimon tattoo idea. So I been sketching my fav cutie from Digimon lopmon aka Cocomon from the movie Digimon. If you know you know! lol basically this movie was one of my favs growing up and he’s so cute i decided I gotta draw him! I always wanted a tattoo of his digi-egg that appears in the water at the end of the movie. But upon drawing it i realized it’s not much of a tattoo alone so I thought let me expand! After getting the general look of lopmon I was like ok what about his brother he looks so similar gotta make him too! And then I realized wouldn’t it be funny to see him as pikachu !? his face is so similar! So As you can tell I let my mind wander! Unfortunately I still don’t know which color egg i want and now I’m like do I want both of them?! I don’t even know lol

Their were a lot of different skills used in creating these props on Alex’s behalf and on his page he goes into some detail in the creation, showcasing some fun video content of them in action! For that visit his page @dicomedy The paint job was no small feat as well! It was so fun working on objects that look like an adorable black and white cartoon! Probably the most fun I’ve had in a while with painting. I used a specific gloss coat on the ice cream so that it would remain stretchy and flexible. But I think something I’m proud of is restoring the original plate. The plate initially was covered in some type of syrup that I removed and it had a huge hole in it. In the end I got it back to being remotely presentable and then painted to match the fun cartoon look of everything else. Everything about each piece gave a new challenge and I think to make them all feel like they are in the same world was just the cherry on top! I hope to see the musical at some point Betty boop is on my families Christmas tree! lol

Some minor props I painted in my earlier years @thespecialistsltd Props molded and casted by @dicomedy @reallyrippedghost @katuhyewn Although I love the way I painted the bats I think my fav thing to paint was the baby log! 🪵 These were some props I got to photograph using the Photo Booth. Some photos have both the prop I painted next to the existing object. These moments though painted in my earlier days I feel are proud moments for me. Understanding what I am seeing becomes a study and practice to pull the 2nd sesquizygous twin from the cauldron so they can be together in this world. Always a journey where I challenge myself to find what it takes to reunite an object with itself or something of similar quality. A practice to gaze upon the many mirrors in our lives and see something more than the reflection and yet even an exact interpretation feels impossible. A romantic place I visit during the quiet hours of painting objects. Can I convince you? To see what it is? Or something almost exactly like it? Lost in my isolation again I am dirt; tethered to remain in the many gravitational pulls of the universe wondering “do I exist some where else?” To only know my self in my senses I feel the splitting of matter align on another shore far from here. The sand of my memories in variegated color and light in a place tumbled by rolling waves. A poem 🤫 lol

Happy Pride Month!🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️‍🔥✨ I been working on this illustration during my down time. Hoping that I can make it a template as something I can turn into a ton of different illustrations and possibly a tee shirt design. I drew it on the sketch book app on my iPad which I need to get procreate I think it’d be a lot faster. Any way hope this gives a you a smirk, possibly a giggle! Love my alien in drag doing the parade distracting the masses while the mother ship abducts a trans unicorn 🦄 !
