Realized I never posted this guy that @corporateheadquartershq and I made for “Law and Order: SVU” like 2 years ago. This juicy boy was some poor sucker who got shot in the back of the head and got left to rot.

First off, please forgive me for the “Cannibal Holocaust” nature of how the body is propped up! Anyway, I forgot to post this. A rush silicone and foam body for Pretty Little Liars I made over a weekend for what I believe was supposed to be a resuscitation gag after someone who drowned. There was some miscommunication at some point where I thought she was supposed to be like dead-dead and initially painted her way more pale (see the last pic). Thankfully this was cleared up after sending some images to the prop master and still had time to “liven” up the skin tones.#spfx #moviemagic #siliconeart

Not my usual style but a fun one nonetheless! Made faux Super Bowl championship rings for an Old El Paso commercial. I designed and printed the rings, molded them and cast in low temp metal. They were polished and then plated in 18k gold, 24k gold, Bronze, Nickel, and Platinum to give them all a different appearance. Afterwards I added a little paint and then @katuhyewn and I spent an afternoon bedazzling them with rhinestones.

Last year my long long time Co-Worker JD retired and @hanselhartman devised a plan and tricked him into getting 3D scanned and he designed an action figure of him as a going away gift! I cleaned up the mesh and did the blister pack forming. @justinartxtina did the paint job on the 3d print. Our graphics department made the card. Fun stuff! Amazing co-worker and I’m happy to know he’s enjoying retirement.

Fun prop I put together for “Boop! The Musical”.A collapsible rubber cartoonish Banana Split. The gag was that a platter lid closes on a hollow roast chicken and when the lid pops back up there is a big ole’ sundae. We were working with a Props and Art department in Chicago so I don’t have any videos of it all put together, but I have bits and pieces to show that are still fun. I molded their existing prop chicken and casted a hollow one which we painted, and we created a lid with a magnet system to be able to lift the chicken up off the Ice cream. Very fun, the ice cream was modeled, molded, and cast by me, and @justinartxtina did a fantastic paint job on it along with the chicken, platter, and lid creating a 30’s era cartoon vibe in monochrome!

Tinted clear cast sneaker that had encapsulated LED strips that I did as a sample for a Nike gig. While they went a different route, we still worked with them, I just like this sample.

June has just been a month of oooze. Not a bad thing.

Part 2 of the “Pretty Little Liars” animal band. So after making the first batch of the faux band, we did a second batch to look like they went through a huge fire. We created the skeletons based on how these sorts of basic bands are actuated. I did the 3D design work, and project management, and topped it off with the final scenicing to make them looked rough as hell. Don’t normally do two posts in a night, but it looks like this other prop came out too! It was a cobra scepter that I modeled, printed and assembled which was then finished and painted by @justinartxtina for the Megan Thee Stallion music video for “BOA”. Crazy rush job, like a couple of days to knock this out!

Happy to finally get to show of this project I lead and worked on! A year ago we had an ask to build a faux animatronic animal band (a la the Rock-Afire Explosion band) for pretty little liars. Using the productions concept art I designed/engineered all the characters digitally and we printed the parts. From there @reallyrippedghost headed the crazy good fur laying and styling with a small team consisting of @loupfeiferart @itsonlyworms @katuhyewn and @quailsound. The paint work on the ghoulish faces and all the instruments was headed by @happyfrida_y with her team consisting of @justinartxtina @zengxisyuan @feralchylde @katvondicks_mua @michaeladough and more! Costumes were done by Anaïs Main with extra scenic work on them by @it_came_from_the_basement_fx and Paul ward. Really fantastic project, very huge ask and it came together so well with this awesome team! Part 2 coming soon!
