Wavelength is proud to announce the newest member of our team, Luke @quailsound ! Luke is a barber, stylist and colorist and they’ll be joining us on Sundays and Wednesdays. Read more about Luke below and head over to the link in our bio to book with him! Luke was raised in NYC and spent their formative years in Asheville, NC. Since attending Aveda in 2011, Luke has been working as a hairdresser in Brooklyn for over 13 years including the past five great years at Maxwell’s for Hair here in Bushwick. Luke specializes in a variety of wash and wear styles including barber cuts, long layers, shags, mods, mullets, curly hairstyles, and queer cuts. Luke is also a colorist who loves doing fantasy colors and balayage. Luke brings a unique approach to hairdressing, viewing each haircut as a somatic, therapeutic event and is thrilled to be here for you at Wavelength! In addition to hairdressing, Luke is an active participant in the local puppetry and clown scenes, where you can find him regularly at Matthew Silvers Idiot Hour and a myriad of Puppet slams!

Hey Friends! We have put together a pretty incredible benefit show to send love and money to hurricane victims in Asheville! If you can make it on Wednesday we’ve got a jam packed night full of good tunes, great vibes, and wholesome energy. If you can’t make it out we’ve attached a fundraiser on here you can donate to.
