I’m very happy to hold my third solo release this year, “Axis Mundi EP” on @konstrukt__ It is very special release for me since it is the first record I released in a long time with having absolutely no thoughts of peak time techno. All sounds in this release are made with @somasynths Lyra 8, additionally one bass drum engine from @weareelektron Analog Rytm, the noise generator in Analog Four and a few guitar pedals. The strict limitation I set for myself helped me to take a flight around the Muztagh Ata mountain and get my bass drum confirmed by the the god of the drum. PREMIERE: Magna Pia - Muztagh [Konstrukt] Dutch imprint Konstrukt continues their string of stellar releases through the various shades and moods of techno with a club-centric offering by German producer Hüseyin Evirgen aka Magnia Pia. Started in 2016, the side project of the Cassegrain former half has seen releases on storied labels such as Ed Davenport’s Counterchange recordings, Soma Quality Records, and his own Arcing Seas label. Axis Mundi rounds out his third strong release of the year. The mysteriously named Muztagh evokes notions of otherworldly scenes, shrouded in mists. Perhaps a spiritual element twisting through the ether. Rhythmic drums and sweeping pads lending to the feelings of wariness and apprehension as the track ebbs and flows through the duration.
