Playing a show next week and got the standard email from the venue about how they have 0 presales so far and we really need to push it more (fair) but also, what are we all doing? It feels like the world should have stopped a while ago and we’re still going to work and paying rent and paying bills and barely surviving and drinking our drinks and hustling and hurting and taking our drugs and talking our shit and promoting our little projects and making our little memes and using our little pocket computers to keep us “connected” but completely disconnected/dissociated/disturbed/depressed while we repost the same atrocities day after day. It is making me feel insane. We have compartmentalized ourselves to the point where I just feel like a bunch of ingredients without a recipe. We should be storming the castles and throwing billionaires and war mongers into volcanos. Everything feels wrong. Anywayyyyy. Playing Alphaville on Friday the 29th. We go on at 10. Pull up. 🙃
