Heading to the scenic island of Catalina this week in celebration of K+A’s wedding weekend. It’s going to be beautiful and one for the books! Red, and make it sexy!! 💋 If you’re going to have an after party, it’s got to leave an impression after all! For Brianna and Carl, we transformed the Grand Del Mar ballroom into a moody supper club atmosphere to conclude the night. The She-J played until midnight, and we served guests burgers and fries in boxes monogramed with the couple’s wedding branding. It was a perfect end to a magical weekend. Tones of lavender, buttercream and terracotta inspired the color palette for our design of B + C’s gorgeous Tuscan outdoor reception – the first ever in the newly renovated Grand Social lawn! Guests danced the night away under olive trees and market lights which added to the European feel of the wedding. The Italian theme continued into cocktail hour, where guests were led by way of a second line to our Capri-inspired cocktail hour complete with gelato, pizza and of course, an Aperol spritz cart. The entire space was transformed to feel like a marketplace in Capri – perfect for sunset drinks before dinner! Salute! It’s always such an honor to rethink the layout of a venue. So, when Brianna described a bucolic ‘under the Tuscan sun’ setting for her wedding ceremony, the only fitting place for her ceremony had to be on the 18th hole of @fairmontgranddelmar for their Tuscan inspired ceremony.
