Am I the only one who longs for a grand return of this ethos of service in businesses big and small? Ownership, problem solving, tracking and seeing to the needs of the customer? It seems in decline almost everywhere, going against the way I was trained at early jobs. When someone goes above and beyond, recognize it, refer them to others, and return often.

I love being on set with familiar faces from Disney.

Two day ones in this candid shot from set today. "Beautify the significant" is my personal motto. @shaunpug and @williamhellmuth_dp projects tend to hit hard in that vein. Also, met @bobochang today who was acting in this and used to live in the same building where I later did for years... yes, THAT building for those who know the whole saga which deserves a TV drama. Small world of filmmaking, I love it.

14 years ago, or so, I was in the middle of making my first short film. Frigid city streets were a backdrop in it. Some of you may not know I hail from the land of ice and snow. It was hard to get projects made up there. Hearty midwesterners stick together and see things through, descended from generations of farmers that had to band together in the fight for survival. There's a special feeling of accomplishment that goes along with that.
