December 15th 2024 come through for a market and fundraiser for MECA curated by @diana__samawi “bazar bijennin/بَزار بيجَنّن —a maker’s market and fundraiser exhibiting jewelry, different mediums of art, home wares, natural wine, arabic food & recipes, and more—to stand in solidarity with the children and families of palestine and lebanon. bijennin/بيجَنّن has the literal translation of describing something that drives you crazy, and the way i’ve always used it was after taking a sip or bite of something so delicious it makes me dance, or stumbling upon furniture or artwork that holds such inimitable beauty, i would do anything to have it. i found this word fitting to call the bazar because it gathers all the artists’ and makers’ works that i truly find بيجَنّن. the bazar will be hosted at @lowergrandradio on sunday, december 15th from 12 until 4 pm. & feature the honorable works by: @sea2sea.co david wilson @night_diver_press @giggleblatz @habibithing @_hi_pala_ @unitypress @softgoodstudio @makoto__lei__ @flosseditions @shop_eugenia @manueveryday @slowworks.studio @nelliestark @lucystark @lowergrandradio @theinteriorparamour food by @mishmishsouq and @mkenneymusic wine by @dar.richi and @heyawines music by @danial_samawi_ recipes and za’atar from back home will also be sold! all proceeds will be donated to @mecaforpeace to support the aid they’re providing.
