This journey has been transformative. With no budget—just Lucas, me, and the farm’s resources—we embraced the mantra: “Work with what you have.” Furniture came from storage, décor from foraged branches, and creativity from within. This post shows us working on The Old Barn Gathering Space, the first of many.
In October, we hosted our first retreat with
@riseagainretreats. Watching guests slow down, connect with the land, the animals, and themselves—it was pure magic. This space, a divine gift to us, is now ready to be shared with you. We hope it brings you peace and reconnection.
Lucas (
@lucas.hoeffel), your talents shine here—from nourishing meals to capturing beauty through photography. To
@eliimadali.jpg, thank you for documenting our frenzy to prep for the first retreat. To Nick, our now neighbor, for finding us and entrusting us with stewarding this special place. And to David, our partner in the land, for believing in the vision and supporting the dream of glamping and now retreats.
Grateful to my
@maribinteriors team foe keeping things ticking along in Greenwich. Love you guys so much! While my hands are busy on the farm, we are working on some exciting collaborations on the ground in Greenwich starting 2025 so stay tuned!
Back on the farm; This retreat isn’t just a project; it’s a calling. The future of this forever farm is unknown, but one thing is clear: it will be beautiful.
With love,
Mari B
