When I first heard you describe your offering, I was taken aback. Sacred ceremony and cocktails seemed an odd pairing—or so I thought. At @shastaguru with @joshua.dorfman , we were on a strict diet, so your cocktails were alcohol-free. Yet, your poignant poetry led us so smoothly into ceremony that all our apprehensions drifted away. Later, you came to the farm and designed several cocktails for us to share with our Rise Again Glampers. Using ingredients tied to our land, you created some of the most delicious combinations we’ve ever tasted. This reel shows you prepping the very first cocktail of our very first retreat. You crafted a drink inspired by my story about Basil, our barn cat, who grounds me presences me into his world whenever he appears. Combining my story with ingredients from the farm, you set an unforgettable intention for the weekend. Imagine being in a room full of people, led by Pete’s beautiful poetry and prose crafted for the moment. Sips of a perfectly mixed drink bring everyone to the same plane of consciousness. This journey has been transformative. With no budget—just Lucas, me, and the farm’s resources—we embraced the mantra: “Work with what you have.” Furniture came from storage, décor from foraged branches, and creativity from within. This post shows us working on The Old Barn Gathering Space, the first of many. In October, we hosted our first retreat with @riseagainretreats. Watching guests slow down, connect with the land, the animals, and themselves—it was pure magic. This space, a divine gift to us, is now ready to be shared with you. We hope it brings you peace and reconnection. Lucas (@lucas.hoeffel), your talents shine here—from nourishing meals to capturing beauty through photography.
