We *finally* went to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (I had the release date saved on my calendar since it was announced and still just got around to seeing it). It was fine!!

"We know the secrets of the Fire Swamp. We lived there quite happily for some time..." We wore our costumes to the PA Ren Faire last weekend, and we have never gotten so many compliments!! One of the employees said he's seen a lot of Wesleys over the years, but never one post-ROUS. I've ALWAYS wanted to do Buttercup and Wesley for Halloween, so this was so much fun (and I couldn't have asked for a better Wesley)!! As always, we had a blast yesterday at the Oddities Flea Market. We loved chatting with the reoccurring vendors (it warms my heart to be recognized year to year by so many fabulous and talented people), as well as getting my copy of The Witch's Door signed by @ryanmatthewcohn and @reginamarierossi and chatting with them about having grown up going to the Amish Wax Museum where many of the wax figures discussed in their book were sourced from (many of you from my hometown might remember the Craig's List ad going around years ago trying to sell the figures - Ryan and Regina were involved in the process of transporting them to their new owner! The oddities world is a small one). Already looking forward to next year!

That's a WRAP on Redux Redux!! What a wild movie to land for my first time ADing a feature. 2 weeks of schedule prep and 18 shoot days, during which we blew up a car, imploded a hotel room, lit a man on fire, "killed" a man about a dozen times, and bonded tighter as a crew than I could have hoped for. I'd be lying if I didn't admit that this project gave me a run for my money at times, but at the end of the day it made me a better AD. Everyone stayed safe (thanks to our incredible stunts and SFX teams and armorers), had a blast, and made some incredible memories. I am FOREVER grateful that the McManus brothers and Production trusted me to take this on.
