Somehow turning 30 really changed me. I became more critical about my own work but also who I want to work for. Freedom on set to create what you want has become the most important thing to me. It's still hard to push through my vision sometimes, but the more I do it the better my results are. I feel like I'm getting more and more confident in the way I want to use color and overall grading. I'm very proud of this editorial, which I directed and shot for @nlvogue , who always gives me carte blanche. Whisky and I became romantic in Japan. Sipping highballs (whisky soda lemon) in the upper bar of Park Hyatt Hotel in Tokyo, channeling a Lost In Translation moment while fighting a jetlag. That was the first time I truly appreciated whisky. Fast forward to last week, where I was asked to curate an intimate evening with Glenfiddich, sharing le Grand Château (31Yo whiskyyy) with a group of close friends and fellow creatives. Savouring the whisky neat (only for the brave :) ) but also revisiting those highball memories. I hosted the evening at the private dining of @restaurant_misera, in the cosiest living room of my dear friends, @nicolasmisera and @yasminweyn, which made it even more personal. They curated a menu that perfectly paired with the whisky. (Have you ever had an oyster with a dash of whisky?)
