Originating as one of Australia’s top music video directors, he has since segued into a successful directorial career in commercials. He has worked on international campaigns with clients including: Apple, Amazon, Honda, Samsung, Xbox, Visa, Facebook and many more. Michael has a gift for amplifying the ordinary into the extraordinary often through a surrealist lens. His critically acclaimed short film YARDBIRD competed for the prestigious Palme d’Or du Court at the 65th Cannes Film Festival and his ferociously energetic, music-driven drama I’M ON FIRE recently premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.
