New identity for VS, the new space of Villa Stuck Museum
@villastuck
Museum’s new visual identity draws inspiration from the materials and elements prevalent in the world of construction, related to the move of Villa Stuck to a new location at Goethestraße 54. The 2024/25 Champions League jersey of FC Bayern, in collaboration with Bureau Borsche Munich @fcbayern
Munich is the northernmost city of Italy—or at least that’s how we see our capital. The close connection between FC Bayern and Italy is almost self-evident, with club legends like Luca Toni, Giovanni Trapattoni, and Carlo Ancelotti. But Munich as a city has even more Italian influences: the numerous Italian restaurants like the Osteria Italiana from 1890, the abundance of street cafés, the sun, and the „Dolce Vita“ as a way of life. Giorgio Moroder, for example, came all the way from Italy to Munich to bring a completely new sound to the world: Disco. Munich’s affinity for Italy is deep and goes beyond a cliché Italophilia.
But back to the football jersey: The polo collar and colors of the jersey are reminiscent of the famous Dolce Vita, the lifestyle of the Italians. They take great pride in their sense of style. With the collar turned up, an espresso, and a cornetto in hand, the day begins, and off they go on their buzzing Vespa. This lifestyle is reflected in the design of the new jersey—a lifestyle as beautiful as Italy, Forza
Bavaria. The special FC Bayern jersey was created in collaboration with adidas and Bureau Borsche Munich.
