FLO’s debut album “Access All Areas” is finally out. This album has really been 2 years in the making, and it’s been many hours in studios from London, to LA to New York back to London again, Zoom meetings, writing camps, loud phone calls, WhatsApp mixing notes, you get it. But I’m really proud of Renee, Stella, & Jorja. And very humbled they trusted me to EP and help shape the vision of their debut album. I think as artists, we put a lot of pressure on first albums to be the most or the best. I know I did when I created my debut album on a major label. But it’s exactly what it is - the first. And despite it having 16 tracks (!) - there’s still so much more music to come from these girls. & I love ‘Access All Areas’ being the first step these girls are taking on what’s destined to be a career with more iconic bodies of work that will stand the test of time - but give it that time. Let them cook. Hope you love it as much as I do. & Shout out to all the writers & producers & engineers & staff (tagged) who helped make this happen, @teezio @ohadnissimmastering for mixing + mastering the whole thing, @samadebayo for A&Ring & putting up with my sass, shout out to me for being a songwriting, sequencing, vocal, additional and executive producing genius cos period and ofc the incomparable ladies of @flolikethis ✨❤️ Fav tracks today are: “Nocturnal”, “Get it Til I’m Gone” 🎟️🎟️🎟️

I got to present the International Executive award to Jon Platt at the Music Business Awards other night 🏆❤️ he signed me to Warner Chappell Publishing back in 2015, and was responsible for my music being heard and then performed by some of the biggest popstars in the world. he’s a G, like the best of the best! and I was so honored to get to be a part of celebrating his excellence! A long LONG time ago when I was working at EMI Publishing I had the great honour of signing Mr. Uzoechi Osisioma “Uzo” Emenike, PKA @mnek to his first deal. Much success followed. The wistful and bashful youth turned into a confident and amazing man, who I am very proud of. He has turned his hand to the business, setting up his label / mgmt / everything company @muzobyuzo .
