Very few people understand the importance of passion and drive. It’s one of the fundamental deciding factors of how I choose who to work with. My crew is as important as the story I’m trying to tell. The shoot day barely feels like working when you work with driven and passionate people. So stay positive, find what drives you and go all in! I am truly blessed to be able to do what I love as a full time job. I found this love for film making seemingly by coincidence, but I know there aren’t any coincidences. I give glory to God that I get to make awesome films with my friends and I look forwards to whatever my future may look like. As much as I like to think I’m in control of my career, I know my footsteps are guided by the one who loved me first. Loving this beast of a camera! The BMPCC 4K is such an awesome tool to create some stunning visuals! I’ve take this camera on some pretty intense stress tests and it has come back with flying colors! This had to be the most fun I’ve had on a shoot! I love penguins and being able to film them during a feeding session was so cool! Being up close and personal having them waddle up to you and curiously nibble at your shoe laces was an experience I’ll never forget. Thanks to @sachtlersystems for a tripod that supported my rig so I could get the smoothest pans and tilts! 📸 @djshughes

NYC shoot vibes...It’s a cold time of year but that doesn’t mean the shoots stop and go to bed for the winter. This was a fun collaboration with @hugobordes filming some stuff for a new camera product! For those wondering...I left the mattebox at home and made myself a step up ring lens hood haha it worked well with my 50mm Sony Zeiss.
