Towering inland sand dunes are a signature of King Ranch Noras Division's coastal pastures, which borders the Laguna Madre. Photographer John Dyer documented members of the Norias cowboy unit barreling downhill and roping through oak mottes for his 2005 book, "El Vaquero Real." Last month, @beltonio and I went back to the dunes for a try at some memorable photos highlighting King Ranch's one of a kind landscapes, horses, and horsemen.
