We’ll never forget this day, pure magic

a year ago today i’d never ran a single race. since then, i’ve stacked 3 half marathons, 1 ragnar, 100 mile sd2la relay, and now my first marathon - the nyc marathon!!! and we raised $34k+ in the process for @mssociety !!!! i am so proud, what a dream!!!!!! nothing will ever ever ever compare to the feeling of running the nyc marathon. we’ve been building to this since april and it blew expectations out of the water. running 26.2 miles with my best friends in the greatest city in the world, while thousands of strangers and our loved ones near/far cheer us on all day is an indescribable experience. the feeling of connectedness it gave me is so overwhelming i can’t stop crying haha thank you to every single person who has donated, who wished us good luck, and every one of you who straight showed up and encouraged us over the past few months. i’ve just been floored by all of the support. it’s been so powerful and i can’t say thank you enough. i am so grateful to @taylorprokes and @whereskate - the true catalysts to this all - who pushed me to believe that i am truly capable of doing anything. i have so much more to say, but if i can do this you can do this! what a journey! love you i will never forget this!!!!

Congratulations to ALL our #FinishMS TCS New York City Marathon runners on an amazing weekend! We are so grateful to have your on our team! 🏃 In celebration of this feat of endurance, we're highlighting the story of 3 of our remarkable runners: "We are three sisters/best friends who have been pushing our limits with endurance sports since 2017. The NYC Marathon has been on our bucket list for many years, and we’ve been so excited to be apart of Finish MS. We partnered with the National MS Society because our best friend was diagnosed with MS at 29 years old. She knew something was wrong but many doctors didn’t take her seriously— which meant years went by before she could start treatments. We wanted to raise money to bring awareness to MS and find a cure. We believe that a diagnosis doesn’t define one’s future and that a long, healthy, active life is achievable. We decided we would raise $30,000 and put the FUN into Fundraising. We didn’t want to just ask our friends and family for money, so we started taking funny dares and challenges from our family and friends in exchange for donations. Our biggest challenge was a self supported ultramarathon -- 100 miles from San Diego to Los Angeles as our final fundraising effort and it was a 23-hour adventure we’ll never forget! We cant wait to talk about all these shenanigans when we’re 90 years old and hope this money makes an impact in finding a cure for MS!" -- Kate (@whereskate), Nicole (@nicoleprokes), and Taylor (@taylorprokes)

We’re running 100 miles from San Diego to Los Angeles to raise $30,000 for the fight against MS. Did you know that women are up to four times more likely to be diagnosed with multiple sclerosis than men? Over 2.8 million people worldwide are living with MS, and every mile we run brings us closer to making a difference. Join us in supporting this important cause!

We are a lot of things… low key isn’t one of them Thank you for everybody’s support. Tomorrow is the big day we are running from San Diego to LA starting at 5pm PST to make it to our party at 7PM BE THERE OR BE SQUARE!!! All updates will be in stories and route will be linked there if you want to join for some miles (they will be slow miles)
