Having my work hang at the Brooklyn Museum was never just a dream—it was a goal I worked for. This weekend, that goal becomes reality. I’m honored to have *Mommy & Me* featured in the museum’s 200-year anniversary exhibition, curated by the amazing @mickalenethomas. Also I’ll be DJing at the museum’s birthday bash this Saturday! Hope to see you there for this special moment.
Open from October 4, 2024 through January 26, 2025. #BkM200

A Fine and Performance Artist! I’m fine artist who is killer on the DJ set. I started a party called Parks & Rec where I showcase my fine art paintings, animations and I draw each artist who DJs my parties. This is my passion. Thank you. video by @stevenhawkinspolaroids

I remember my grandma and the mothers of the church laying their hands on me for prayer whenever I was going thru it. Whenever anyone was going thru it. There was something so powerful in their touch—it was like their love and faith poured straight into me. I miss that feeling, that warmth, that sense of being completely covered and protected. Creating this was my way of holding onto that moment, that care, and that connection. I miss this deep. I miss my grandma.

Chapter 10- my latest body of work presented by @cierrabrittongallery on @artsy. It’s about loss, growth, and learning how to stand in my own power. Grief isn’t just something you get over—it transforms you. I wanted to show that in the work, how something heavy can also be the thing that shapes you into who you’re meant to be. Malachite and Lapis crystals are in this collection because they speak to that journey—Malachite for transformation, Lapis for truth. And water, well, that’s been healing for me my whole life. From tears to the ocean, water flows through this series, reminding me that even when we’re hurting, there’s always room to heal and keep going. Check it out using the link in my bio. Let me know what you think…
