Thriver: A Survivor Story The story of @brittneybeadle and how she thrives through life everyday regardless of a diagnosis she received at the age of 18. I have spent the last 4 years creating this feature length documentary and Sunday morning I got the chance to watch it for the very first time (and most definitely not the last) on the big screen while being surrounded by the most amazing and supportive group of people I’ve ever seen. Thank you to everyone who came out to the private screening of my film and for all the beautiful and kind words I heard after the film. I never imaged a film I made would ever make such a large impact and inspire so many people. It truly is such a surreal feeling. Next stop for @thriver_film - Film Festivals all around the world

We wrapped on My Intrusive Thoughts a little over a week ago and I just wanted to give a shout-out to my beautiful and talented cast and crew. The entire set was filled with my favorite people and my closest friends, which made the whole experience of directing my first short film one I’ll never forget. It was a very surreal experience to watch my own mental health journey being portrayed right in front of my eyes, but you guys helped me take such a heartbreaking and difficult story and turn it into something beautiful. Thank you.

Thankful for the life I get to live and the people I get to share it with 🤎

Hosted my first (of many) clothing swaps last week and wanted to share it with everyone. The whole concept is people brought clothes they didn’t want anymore and you can go through and grab clothes, for free, from anyone who brought items to share. NO money was exchanged, instead we asked people to donate to our godundme for our latest feature we’re working on @stoneinastilllakefilm After the event, Braedon and I put all of the left over clothes in the trunk of my car and we’re reaching out to homeless shelters to collaborate with and donate all of the clothes to. My goal is to turn this into a reoccurring event and continue to donate whatever is left over to homeless shelters to help people in need. It’s a great networking event and just a great excuse to clean out your closet! If you, or anyone you know in the LA area, would be interested in participating in our next event, let me know and we’ll make it happen :)

Last weekend was officially one year living out in California and on our one year anniversary since the move, Braedon and myself got to spend it surrounded by some of the most talented and kind hearted people in the industry. We also got to celebrate his birthday with everyone on set, which was very pure and a lot of fun 🤍 Here’s some of my favorite BTS from @cherryvalleymovie. After 7 years of filming, editing and festivals runs, I’m delighted to announce that our documentary Thriver: A Survivor Story is official available to the public!! It’s available on Amazon Prime, YouTube and Vimeo, all of which are linked in our bio. It’s available for purchase on Prime and free to watch on the other two platforms. All proceeds earned from Amazon Prime will be donated to help fund research. When I was a kid I could never imagine myself as a 25 year old, let alone a 25 year old whose biggest dream in life had come true. Since I was 10 I’ve always dreamed of living out in Los Angeles, very specifically, working as an AD in the film industry. I know, a very weird dream for a 10 year old to have. It’s kinda crazy that I can genuinely say that on my 25th birthday, I’ve been living in LA for almost a year now, getting paid to AD on a variety of film shoots, constantly surrounded by the most loving individuals I’ve ever met. I wish 10 year old Rachel could see that her dreams have come true. She would be so proud :)

In 2017 we became best friends and decided we wanted to figure out a way to share Brittney’s story with the world. We spent the next three years filming doctors visits, scans, vacations and the most random assortment of activities and events. In 2020 we started editing it all together to create a feature length documentary. In 2021 we had a private screening of the film at a local theater in Florida where our family and friends all gathered to watch our film. 2021-2023 Thriver went on a festival run all around the world where it won multiple festivals and inspired hundreds of people. Finally, seven years later, Thriver: A Survivor Story is being released to the public! All proceeds made from the first month will be donated to @metavivor Thank you to everyone who has supported us these last seven years.
