This wasn’t just a show, this was absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt The Show of the season. Its Dries last show. I’m getting emotional as I type this because again, it’s not just a show to me, it’s the culmination of an incredible chapter of my life, the end of an era for my favorite people and accompanying a master of his craft on the wrap of his tenure. It took me a few days to process everything but I can finally express my gratitude and deep admiration for the people who made this possible, most notably Dries and Piergiorgio. I can’t begin to imagine how they must’ve felt personally, but I can say it was a happy day and that there was a feeling of freedom and joy in the air that is hard to describe, nothing mattered more than simply keeping our heads up and getting through the day in good spirits, inspiring and showing loving gestures to each other. We were all wearing our favorite pieces from DVN. We hung out by the food, talked about how much we love him and why. It was a long time backstage but didn’t feel draining at all, just bubbling with expectation. Every step I thought “this is the last _” with dread. It was so hard to contain myself. I can’t help it, I’m so soft. I give in and cry silently a few times during rehearsal, because the music was so touching. It was a day full of love. That -no doubts- I will cherish forever. Walking this show was a privilege and an honor. Walking in the spirit of truth, towards the light, on a silver path. Thank you Dries. For opening portals, building new paradigms and kickstarting my career. Thank you Piergiorgio, for breaking old paradigms and giving me the benefit of the doubt, I owe you a great deal for the incredible support and love you’ve shown me along the years… When we first met in Paris, I experienced my first snow. I had just met the people who would later have the biggest impact on my life and I hadn’t a clue. I was green and it was cold outside. And now we say goodbye during the Spring, nothing scares me anymore. I feel loved. I wish you the best moving forward. You absolute legend. I love you. Thank you. 🖤

For many this would be just another accomplishment, but for me, a Venezuelan model it is absolutely groundbreaking. For @mrkimjones to have given me this opportunity, it was the catalyst to get my career to where I always dreamed. It's not only one person, of that I am sure, I have been fortunate enough to be embraced by many of the greatest people in this industry but this!!! is The biggest accomplishment of year 2023 ✨ Still in disbelief 🥹 still corny 🪄🌽 but above all still over the moon 🌙 about this. 🦋🖤 Wow, where do I even start... 📝 After YEARS of being stuck between the gears, recovering from getting ragged by the worst agencies in the industry, receiving military grade training from the asian modeling markets, parting ways with the worst parts of myself and the mother agent that I hoped would hold me down through it all... I finally came out to discover the light at the end of the tunnel, finally find my people, only to be met with what I now know is "the woods" of the modeling world 🌎🤺 Being a part of the DECEMBER 2023 @voguekorea cover means so much more to me than I could ever explain. After only manifesting my breakthrough season two years ago I've accomplished the unimaginable, and I feel like I finally can say "I made it!!! ♥️" with humility and hope, knowing that there soon still so much to strive toward, so much to learn and so much left to accomplish.
