I’ve always felt the idea of the collective consciousness to be true and have wanted to articulate it simply, in my own way. The belief that, although we all have our individuality, we’re all connected deep down, and, I guess, my hope is that, that connection keeps rising closer to the surface and we can truely ‘see’, ‘love’ and ‘respect’ each other, because we are one another ... woke up early the other morning and this kinda just came to me, so I recorded it straight away ... ‘Do you ever wonder If we’re one soul with many faces? Taking many different paths, From many different places. All around the world, We take on all forms, sex (genders*) and races, But we’re part of this soul, And that’s what makes us Human.’

happy to say "corlett studios" is now live. art has always been my first love. when I was a kid i would come home from school, put on some music and find myself in a trance. instead of doing my homework, i would find myself easily finishing a few sketchpads in an evening. being able to express myself on the blank page, wherever i have found myself in the world, has gifted me such a great sense of calm. which is why it means so much to finally share with you these two, large, limited prints: "Una" and "Maya". these serve as the first little chapter. the prologue of corlett studios. with only 25 editions of each piece. may they welcome a sense of peace in the room you place them in. ~ you can find the link in my bio ~
