Some v delish meals over the last coupla weeks with some fun products/brands 👇 1. @sainsburys penguin baos with char sui mushroom and veg filling 🐧 - walked past these so many times and always stopped to consider buying because THEY R SO CUTE. Finally caved. The verdict? Actually so delicious and v moist. Sometimes find baos a lil dry on the inside but these were so good, kinda had a subtle sweetness too. 2. @rudehealth maple granola porridge and 5 grain seed porridge 🥣 loved making this for breakfast, kept me fuller for longer AND it felt so cosy and with a sprinkling of cinnamon and all-spice [pr] 3. @redefinemeat Xmas hamper 🥺 🎄 wtf so kind!!!!! Even came with lil pots of homemade soy glaze and cranberry chutney. The ‘flank steak’ is wild 🤯 that texture is crazy lol , looks so realistic. The onions were caramelised in the soy glaze - soy boy approved ✅✅✅ [pr] 4. My faves at @yardsalepizza have done another special collab 🍕 with @darjeelingldn !! Beef keema mattar with peas & mint - never had peas on a pizza before OR MINT. Verdict? I loved the contrasting freshness of the mint, the keema mattar went well on the pizza and kinda tasted like an Indian spiced take on the meat-feast. I’m just not 100% sold on the peas having a place on pizza 🧐devoured the whole thing nonetheless lols xxx comes in veggie/vegan options too! Finally got round to visiting @mali.vegan , a family-run, Thai plant-based restaurant in Earl’s Court. It’s also the big sis of @muan_vegan , which we loooved 🌱 🇹🇭 This place was so cosy, the team were so friendly and it had a really lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The food, of course, was excellent. I’m not vegan and when I go to vegan restaurants I’m always a lil skeptical of the “meat alternatives” and would rather just have veg-based dishes BUT you really need to try the vegan cod- it’s actually mind blowing lol. I’ve had it twice now and it’s mental ahahahaha I loved it! Think it’s so clever. Obvs order the papaya salad because it’s 10/10. Not pictured here are the chive cakes - which Billy loves. Would be great for a relaxed dinner or a group dinner situation as they’ve got a gd space for it!
