MIRRORED (3/3) In philosophy mirroring has long been linked to the reflection of the self and the concept of duality. Mirrors shape the way we perceive ourselves and the world around us. Photographer Sergio Santos asked three models to take self-portraits with the help of their reflection in a mirror, all staged in the inspiring atmosphere of Valentim Quaresma´s atelier. “My inspiration draws from a blend of Paolo Roversi‘s mirror concept and the ambiance of a Portuguese atelier. The editorial narrates the daily life of the Portuguese fashion industry without explicitly featuring a photographer. Instead, it showcases the artistry of fashion designers, accessories, and attitudes reflected in mirrors. The inclusion of a camera and tripod implies that the photos were taken using a timer.
