Announcing our exhibitions for Spring/Summer 2025:
🌷 Arpita Singh at Serpentine North
An exhibition featuring key works from Arpita Singh’s prolific career, ranging from large-scale oil paintings to more intimate watercolours and ink drawings. Her painting practice blends figuration and Surrealism, drawing inspiration from miniaturist painting and Bengali folk art.
🌳 Giuseppe Penone at Serpentine South
A comprehensive survey of Giuseppe Penone’s practice featuring sculptures and works on paper from 1977 to today. A leading figure in Arte Povera, Penone experimented with a wide range of materials including wood, iron, wax, bronze, terracotta, and plaster. Situated in the surroundings of Kensington Gardens, this exhibition will showcase the artist’s interest in the relationship between humans and the natural world.
🎮 As we head into Autumn, we’ll be presenting a new collaborative video game, exhibition and R&D project by Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley (
@ladydangfua), an artist working predominantly in animation, sound, performance, and video game development. Her practice focuses on intertwining lived experience with fiction to imaginatively archive and empower Black Trans stories.
