Sheer joy watching @sheermagofficial at @greenmanfest. I’ve loved this band for years, and they didn’t disappoint! Sunny FM radio power-rock from Philadelphia. My head was bobbing to every song like a nodding dog in the back of a car.

Sheer Mag (Philadelphia) Sheer Mag son una amalgam conmovedora y despiadada de los Mekons y Thin Lizz, de ecos a The Jackson 5 y funk setentero, y de todo eso con MC5. Rock de grandes riffs y con una actitud DIY meets hard rock. De ahí sale un puñado de canciones que oscilan entre el pop, el folk y el shoegaze. Poco después se le unió María Inglés (Tipex, Tercer Sol) a la batería y recientemente Bernardo Díaz (Don Julio y los Chocolas, Rajoy Division) al bajo. Pronto grabarán algunas de estas canciones. El 21 de Agosto tocamos en la Sala El Sol con el aire acondicionado bien fresquito.
