While our first conversation with designer Koji Kamiya defined coded masculine archetypes inside his self-titled label KAMIYA, this one defines purposes. Mannish Boy is both the purpose and presentation for @kamiya___official. It extracts deeper values from his vintage world of things men like, and men like to do. Mannish Boy culls objects of masculine idolatry from grunge music heroes, 1970s psych rock gods, hell even Elvis Presley’s hunky hibiscus prints in Blue Hawaii to refract every wide-eyed boy gone awestruck over a panorama of coolness.
