Available for streaming and downloading across all major music platforms 👉 Link in bio Hailing from Bali, Indonesia, DBRA is a rising talent whose music reflects a rich tapestry of global influences fused with cutting-edge electronic production. Known for her dynamic performances at major festivals like Wonderfruit and Odyssey Festival, as well as her residencies at W Bali and Savaya, DBRA has played alongside world-renowned artists like Sabo, Goldcap, Lost Desert, and Boris Brejcha. She has released tracks on labels such as Café De Anatolia and Lump Records, with her music gaining support from key figures in the scene like Blondi, Acid Pauli, and Be Svendsen. Higher was born from a profound moment DBRA experienced while watching “Interstellar” movie, particularly a scene about the transcendence of love. “There’s a specific scene in it that kept repeating in my mind,” she explains. “It was when they’re talking about the profound meaning of love, how love is transcendental and remains as something that is beyond our understanding. At the time, I was also working on a track and I thought that Interstellar moment should be a part of it. So I decided to build this track based on the scene. Musically, this track is interesting because the mood of the inspiration is quite sad, but the beat of the track itself is groovy and uplifting. I then created ‘Blue’ to complement ‘Higher’. This track has a warmer feeling to it. It starts off with a relaxing and mellow vibe, and as the track progresses, it starts becoming more dynamic and radiant.” The result is Higher, a piece that combines a melancholic mood with groovy, uplifting beats. The second track, Blue, was created as a complement, starting with a warm, mellow vibe and evolving into something more dynamic and radiant. Together, these tracks represent the balance between introspection and energy, a hallmark of DBRA’s evolving sound.
