Introducing FLUC.’s First Season Photographer Sun Park 📷 @sunographie is an image maker whose practice explores the mechanics, materiality, and psychological underpinnings of everyday image-making. Park focuses as much on image making process as on final product. He embraces flaws in his pictures as a way of questioning what it means to transform a subject into an image, and how our vision of those subjects is mediated. He holds an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in Photography, Video, and Related Media and a BFA in Photography/ Film from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Arts (VCUarts). His work has been exhibited in multiple exhibitions in New York, South Korea, and Richmond Virginia.
