This Thursday the next Zurich Film Festival starts. I am looking forward to exciting photographic encounters again this year :-) For over a decade, I have had the privilege of photographing filmmakers at the Zurich Film Festival. These photo sessions often take place under great time pressure, amidst the bustling energy of the festival. I feel comfortable in these situations, where meticulous research meets the courage to improvise during the shoot. The short shoot with Alicia Vikander was particularly intense, her room-filling presence was an experience. This year, I have the honor of presenting an exhibition at the opening of Kino Frame, reflecting on the many remarkable encounters I was privileged to experience. The images will be on display at Kino Frame starting tomorrow, Wednesday. .
