In the face of the ongoing horror in Gaza, every word i want to write feels dispensable. One year ago i had the honour and privilege to go to Gaza to work on a film with @earthrise.studio and the @icrc. A place full of beauty, warmth and resilience, no matter what the masters of war want us to think. It will be forever in my heart, just like the beautiful souls we met along the way. May they find peace and justice soon. 🕊️ ZANANA (arabic for the sound of war drones in the sky) will be a documentary film about a female farmer, a fisherman and a student that captures life of different generations struggling with the climate crisis in the Gaza Strip.
