An inspirational and insightful day spent with @petermarkhair team yesterday. After attending the Wella Business Network event at the end of January I came away from there feeling motivated and inspired and decided that I wasn’t going to wait another year to reconnect with some of the people within our industry that I admire so much. Yesterday was about understanding both our businesses a little more. We discussed the challenges we’re faced with and the opportunities that lie ahead. It’s incredible what you can gain when great people come together and I can’t wait to do more of this throughout 2024. @petermarkhair thank you for your hospitality and the insight you shared with us. After launching this page and sharing my first video on IWD, discussing how motherhood and having a career is possible, both my kids got struck down with chicken pox, one after the other 🤪 However, I’m still here to tale the tale and along the way, we scooped one of the biggest and most meaningful awards of 2024 (and it’s only March 😉) *APPRENTICE EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR* at the AAC Apprenticeship Awards 🥳 So whilst my post is late because I was rubbing chicken pox mousse on to the bodies of my kids at the time of this win, im now through the thick of it and wanted to recognise my amazing team! I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such talented and hard working people that keep the ship sailing along, even when at times I feel like I’m sinking!
