The Great Film Club began as a small, monthly screening event in Los Angeles, but we’re thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter. With support from our friends at @eastwoodpac, we’re expanding our mission to unite filmmakers by launching our very own film festival! Unlike our film club, the festival will feature screenings of full-length films, with a special focus on premieres by California filmmakers. Of course, we’ll also be showcasing short films, with a maximum duration of 15 minutes, across all genres. We’ll be awarding laurels for ‘Greatest in Category’ and to all selected films, along with two complimentary tickets for each selected filmmaker! While submissions will require a fee, we’ve ensured they remain accessible, staying true to our mission of supporting filmmakers. As we highly value building in-person connections, all selected filmmakers are required to attend the event. None of this would be possible without the support of our incredible local filmmakers, and we’re excited to embark on this next endeavor. Submissions are now open!
