Still buzzing from getting the chance to talk with STRANGE DARLING duo JT Mollner and Barbara Hershey at the @newbeverly on Wednesday night. NOT PICTURED: Me geekily meeting Cinematographer Giovanni Ribisi and telling him his work was if Barry Sonnenfeld had sex with Vittorio Storaro (he laughed…classic DP humor). Last night at the @newbeverly was one of those “tell your kids” screenings, folks. Watching the ULTRA rare print of 1930’s THE SPOILERS at a late night show with a crowd was a real treat. Hot damn, I sure do love them movies. (Also: the other side of the New Bev marquee is just the sexiest…total cineboner material)
