This one’s close to my heart 💕 I lost my grandmother to breast cancer, had a personal scare, and my best friends are survivors. It’s time we check ourselves and spread awareness together because every life matters. My fashion label, TALA by Tala Alamuddin, is sponsoring a campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer, bringing this crucial message to Singapore and beyond. We’re teaming up with @pinkribbonfoundation and the incredible artist @laurastowersart to remind everyone of the importance of checking your boobs. Let’s make this movement ripple far and wide. Every year in the UK, 55,000 women and 370 men are diagnosed, with one person every 10 minutes. Yet half of women still don’t check regularly: this needs to change. Here in Singapore, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, with 2,000 new cases each year. Early detection saves lives. Let’s be vigilant. Using Laura’s boards, we invited everyone to photograph, film, and flip them, revealing the message: “LOOK at your BOOBS.” Thank you to the The Totally TALA team, friends, and all who helped us champion this meaningful cause!
