18 years ago I built a booth out of ply wood and wal-mart mattress foam in a barn loft in Utah (swipe right). Used a water jug as the mic stand weight because I was rapping and moving the mic stand so much it was making noise. I had no idea that 18 years later I’d own and run a studio in LA and so many wonderful people would come in to make music here. All I know is that I fucking love music. I’ve been obsessed with music from as long as I can remember. There’s nothing else like it in this world.

Swipe right. Holding down a studio in Los Angeles for 13+ years has been a wild journey. This place has tested me in every way I could and could not imagine. I see a lot of businesses closing. I see studios closing, Record Plant closing was a wild one.. I have my own doubts and challenges, this is an incredibly difficult industry to operate in. But, when I look back and see how much has been done with the first 13 years it makes me that much more excited to see what happens in the next 13 years. #truthstudiosforeverbaby forever ever.
