3rd time lucky posting - here goes. Top Boy Season 3 Block 2 changed the course of my life. Overnight I went from closing a pub shift, to pre-production meetings, recces, shot lists, scheduling, compiling references, reviewing setups and eventually, production. This job solidified the importance of mentorship. There is no one way to mentee/mentor, every relationship is different; but each one involves someone who believes in you just enough to throw you an opportunity and see what you do with it. @kaname.onoyama threw me Top Boy, and it was the greatest gift I ever got.
