Holly Farmer and I had the privilege to have recently been invited on @gbnews to talk about the incredible story behind her discovery. ❤️Full interview on my TikTok.❤️ I was just 2 months into scouting for PRM Agency when I found Holly and my scouting experience was only limited to one very successful boy. So finding great looking boys was easy, but finding the right high fashion girl took time, patience and luck. On that day, I was just walking back and forth on King Street in Hammersmith, finding mainly boys but I desperately wanted to find a girl. At around 3:30pm after a good caramel Frappuccino break at Starbucks, I decided to go again for another walk around and eureka 💡. There she was, walking towards me, my eyes were shining at her sight. I approached her and introduced myself and obviously my first question was : How tall are you? Then, How old are you? And what do you do? To which she replied : 5ft10, 18 and I work in a pub. I was like: Nooo, you can’t be working in a pub. I couldn’t really picture it in my mind. She was too beautiful to be standing behind a counter. So when I sent her picture to the team, I made sure that my point was made; ‼️SHE DOES NOT BELONG IN A PUB.‼️ And here she is now, having been to China to work/develop, she debuted quite well during London and Paris Fashion Weeks. And this is only the beginning, I’m so excited to see what the future holds for you Holly ✨🤌🏾. Oh Lord, now I neeeeed a @sonyalpha 1 mark II 😍😍. When I’m not dancing, I’m shooting geared up with the competition but yesterday’s test made me want a Sony camera sooo bad 😍. That very powerful eye detector paired with AI, the noise reduction even at ISO over 12500, the one second pre shot to allow you not to miss any moment, the great image stabilisation. And finally that new lens 28-70mm F2, very light I heard. But that shallow depth of field, I was very impressed seeing the portrait taken with the mesh skirt over my face and my elbows pointing towards the camera. This is not an ad but an appreciation post, from a fellow photographer who happened to be a dancing subject on that very fun test shoot. Thank you the Sony team U.K. for having me, thank you @tommyophoto for approving my stylistic approach 😉✨ and thank you @amckdance for booking me on that 💋. The Gentle Monster’s collab with TEKKEN 8. 🥹 One of only 2 in the UK. You have no idea how excited I was for this product, TEKKEN was the very first and the only video game I was most obsessed about as a child. In Africa not all kids had the luxury of having a Play Station or a video game actually. So my every spare pennies would go towards paying at a video club to play for at least 5 minutes. This game made me enjoyed martial arts but unfortunately never got learn, I can tell you that during and after the making of this content, I was the happiest inner child, trying to mix martial arts moves and dance. The whole of yesterday I was acting like a tough guy 🤭. The last time I played TEKKEN was in my childhood, when I was 13 on the PlayStation 1. It’s safe to say that I’m now feeling the urge to sign up for martial arts classes as I really liked what I felt yesterday.
