昨年12月のGIORGIO ARMANIとのコラボレーションが記憶に新しい中、この度かねてより念願でありました YUICHI TOYAMA. 旗艦店【YUICHI TOYAMA. TOKYO】を、4月1日(月)骨董通りの地に設立する運びとなりました。 YUICHI TOYAMA. は世界で最も品質の高い眼鏡を生産することで知られている日本を拠点に、暮らしとの調和、用の美や機能美を併せ持ったこだわりの眼鏡を創り続けてきました。 YUICHI TOYAMA. を通して時代を超え受け継がれるべき『工芸品としての眼鏡』を世界に発信するべく 旗艦店の場所として青山の骨董通りを選びました。 『緊張と寛ぎ』をテーマとする店内は、店舗コンセプトである『工芸品としての眼鏡』を再提案するストアスペースと、 デザイナー外山雄一自身が直接カウンセリングしオートクチュールを体験するオーダーメイドルームを併せ持った唯一 無二の空間となっています。(今秋開始予定) メインライン【YUICHI TOYAMA.】の最新作から、ブランド設立当初からこれまでのコレクションを展示販売し、プレステージライン【YUICHI TOYAMA:5】も充実したラインナップで展開いたします。 店舗コンセプトである『工芸品としての眼鏡』に沿った店内オブジェクトも必見であり、LOEWE Craft PrizeのファイナリストであるセラミックアーティストTOMONARI HASHIMOTO の作品や、大蔵山スタジオへ特注した伊達冠石のテーブル など、デザイナー外山雄一が選りすぐったモノが店内を彩ります。 オーダーメイドルームは『AJITO』と命名し、YUICHI TOYAMA. のアイデアの源泉となる音楽・アート・デザイン・ 工芸が詰まった空間でブランドの世界観を体感しながら、デザイナー外山との時間共有から生まれる “特別な誂えと新た な発見” を提供いたします。 お客様にとって特別にデザインされたオーダーメイドフレームは、デザイナー外山と 30 年来共に仕事をしてきた 35 年 のキャリアを持つ職人が制作を担当いたします。 皆様のご来店、スタッフ一同心よりお待ち申し上げております。 ————————————————— 『YUICHI TOYAMA.
