Dark Elegance, 2024 For @wei.long_xie ’s Black Swan shoe. To re-envision such a classic tale is always a special occassion. A good villain isn’t one-dimensional and they never should be. So capturing both the beauty of the artform as well as the darkness and mystery of the character, and juxtaposing these two elements in a way that is elegant and dreamy, was a challenge. One that @yosclark mastered effortlessly through his expressionistic body movement. Furthermore the amount of eye for detail @megumi.matsuno and @x_sjourdan put into was inspiring.
