No one likes showreels. What are they for? Isn’t sliding through an album of stills more than enough? I can not answer these questions. But I can show you my showreel. That’s actually quite funny, because Instagram makes me post this as a REEL. So I’m showing your this REEL. Is that what they are for? Did Instagram invent them to make you use their Reels feature? If you watch my reel till the end, will you be caught by the algorithm and continue watching hundreds of reels for the next two hours? How many of those will be cool cinematography showreels? I guess that depends on your personal preferences, and surely I hope you don’t watch Cinematography showreels in your free time. If it’s your job to do so, I guess it’s fine.
