The slight bloom really complements the camera and the sporadic flares were a perfect fit for our film. The lenses are gentle on skin texture and have an overall ‘calming’ effect on digital sensors. I love that you can achieve variation within the set depending on the T stop and I found myself making aperture rules depending on which location we were shooting - The Society we shot wide open for an enhanced surrealistic quality and within the tech spaces of our film we closed down closer to a 2.8 or 4 to give the image a bit more snap and uniformity.
