This past spring, whilst I was packing my entire life to move south to Virginia, I went over to the UK with my work spouse @kaufyismynamo and we made one of my favourite records to date with absolute legends @marychapincarpenter @juliefowlis and @karinepolwart. the band was @cham_ralston on bass, Chris Vatalaro on drums, @robburgermusic on keys, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh on hardanger d’amore, and Josh on guitar. We tracked it at @realworldstudios with @mateykay as my first mate. Tracked mostly live, in a semi circle, and mixed back here this summer at @theisokon - one of the first records I mixed in my new studio. I adore this record, and I can’t say enough about how deeply honoured I am to have spent this time with these fine humans, making this beautiful music. I cannot wait for this to be in the world.
