November is Native American Heritage Month! Angels Gate Cultural Center is honored to work in partnership with the local Native community to steward the land and host the annual Many Winters Gathering of Elders (MWGOE). MWGOE (@manywinterseldersgathering) plays a vital role in the community, with the participation and support of the original peoples of the land. The vision of the Gathering is to create a community space for traditional learning, sharing, and healing from historical and intergenerational trauma - inspiring a healthier future for Native people. Plans are being made for the 19th Many Winters Gathering Of Elders at Angels Gate Cultural Center - October 9, 10, 11 & 12, 2025. This will coincide with the Sustainers of Life exhibition at Angels Gate Cultural Center Gallery.
